an acceptable stay with issues

carpet stains excessive noise

the staff contacted me after my departure because i left an item in the room this service was acceptable

the noise was excessive because of a level crossing it sounded all night walls had stains i also noticed carpet stains and a wet area the room had an odor similar to dog the noise from other rooms was constant

basic but clean stay

great location great value good communication

the location is good for accessing the centre. an uber ride cost between £6 and £12. the value for money is great if you are on a budget. the owner communicated well. the inside was clean, tidy and secure despite the outside appearance. tea and coffee are available in a communal area.

the ground floor seemed a bit rough. the door to my room could not be locked. there was a key, but the bolt was not functional. this felt a bit scary considering the pub environment.

a communal kitchen is available . this kitchen includes utensils and appliances needed for preparing meals. it seemed tidy and reasonably well-kept , offering a practical amenity.

the hotel is located within reasonable distance of the city center. a taxi or ride-sharing service provided easy access. the immediate surroundings seemed safe and accessible, even late in the evening.

the staff promptly addressed my queries and requests. they offered assistance with directions. communication before and was efficient and helpful! which enhanced my overall experience.
